5. Work-for-Hire & Contributor Agreement
All content, materials, and intellectual property created by contractors, instructors, or contributors for OpenWorld LSAT shall be considered “work made for hire” under 17 U.S.C. § 101 and Delaware contract law. All rights, title, and interest in such work shall be assigned to OpenWorld LSAT, LLC.
Contributors agree to:
- Assign all IP rights to OpenWorld LSAT;
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information;
- Refrain from using or disclosing materials for any purpose outside the scope of their engagement.
This clause shall survive termination of the engagement.
6. Intellectual Property Ownership
All intellectual property, including but not limited to course materials, lesson plans, recordings, assessments, and proprietary methodologies, are the sole property of OpenWorld LSAT, LLC. Any content created by instructors, contractors, or contributors under engagement with OpenWorld LSAT is considered a “work made for hire” and is fully assigned to OpenWorld LSAT, LLC. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any materials is strictly prohibited.
7. Non-Disclosure Agreement
All users, instructors, and contributors agree to maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information shared through OpenWorld LSAT platforms. This includes but is not limited to instructional content, student data, internal communications, and business strategies. Disclosure of such information to third parties without express written consent is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
8. No Warranty Disclaimer
OpenWorld LSAT provides its services and materials “AS IS” and makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of any content or instruction. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, including LSAT scores or law school admissions. Users assume full responsibility for their use of the services and materials.
9. Cancellation & Refund Policy
To ensure fairness and scheduling efficiency, OpenWorld LSAT requires a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any class cancellation or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to forfeiture of the session or applicable fees. Refunds, if applicable, are issued in accordance with our full cancellation policy, available upon request or at the time of enrollment.
